Furniture Designer

Job Purpose:

1. Responsible operations of Woodworking CNC routers and Machining Centres

Responsibilities:

1. To prepare accurate CAD drawings of designs and convert to DXF formats on Autocad , Solid works, or any other graphic software

2. To convert DXF file to CAM file format with tool definitions, ready to run on CNC machine.

3. To make any fixture arrangement to hold the job on the machine bed.

4. To Operate CNC Machine and finish the job

5. Clean up the debris from the job

6. Keep the machine and work area clean and maintain regularly with proper dusting, lubricating the moving parts.

7. Keep the operating PC clean, updated with running softwares so as to be ready for operation any time.

8. Installation of softwares in case they get corrupt because of any reason.

   Academic qualification and Certification:

   1. Graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architecture.

   2. Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Architecture.Work Experience:1Total work experience = minimum 5 years

   3. Preference would be given to candidates having working experience in Furniture manufacturing industry on CNC routers.

      Soft Skills Requirement

      1. DIY - Do It Yourself Attitude is a must. Candidates who believe that any related allied job is not theirs to do, should not apply at all

      2. Candidate should be willing to dirty their clothes and hands while working.

      3. Candidates should not shy away from using hand tools like spanners, scredrivers, drill machines etc for any maintenance work.
