Job Responsibilities
Design and develop wooden furniture as per requirements.
Prepare accurate Cut Lists, Layouts, and Cutting Plans.
Prepare detailed 2D/3D drawings and working drawings for production.
Provide complete dimensions, measurements, and material details.
Prepare cutting details for wood, plywood, MDF, and other wooden materials.
Ensure proper material utilization and minimize material wastage.
Understand furniture construction, assembly, and wooden joinery.
Coordinate with the production team to resolve design and drawing-related issues.
Modify and update drawings according to production requirements.
Ensure all drawings and cutting details are accurate and production-ready.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of wooden furniture designing.
Practical knowledge of Cut List, Layout, and Cutting Plan.
Good understanding of furniture construction and joinery.
Good knowledge of AutoCAD and 2D/3D designing.
Knowledge of MDF, Plywood, Veneer, Laminate, Solid Wood, etc.
Good understanding of measurements, dimensions, and material optimization.
Ability to understand production requirements and convert them into accurate drawings.
