🏢 WE ARE HIRING – FURNITURE DESIGNER 🪑✨

📍 Location: Ghatkopar, Mumbai

💼 Experience: 2–5 Years

💰 Salary: ₹30,000 – ₹40,000/month

🏭 Industry: Modular Furniture / Furniture Manufacturing / Interior Projects

🎓 Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech. – Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical qualification

🔧 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

✅ Design and develop wooden, metal & modular furniture as per project and production requirements

✅ Create accurate 2D & 3D drawings using AutoCAD & SolidWorks

✅ Prepare detailed production/manufacturing drawings with dimensions, materials, hardware & assembly details

✅ Prepare BOM & BOQ for furniture products and projects

✅ Design workstations, tables, cabinets, storage units, reception counters, wardrobes, desks, partitions & customized furniture

✅ Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Project, Engineering & Site Teams

✅ Coordinate with vendors regarding materials, hardware, fittings & fabrication requirements

✅ Modify drawings according to client requirements, site conditions & production feedback

✅ Ensure proper selection of plywood, MDF, laminates, metal sections, sheet metal, hardware & edge bands

✅ Check drawings for accuracy, dimensions, material requirements & manufacturability

✅ Resolve technical/design issues during manufacturing and installation

✅ Maintain proper records of drawings, revisions, BOMs, BOQs & technical documents

💻 REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS

✔️ AutoCAD: Strong knowledge of 2D & 3D furniture drawings

✔️ SolidWorks: 3D modelling, assemblies & technical drawings

✔️ Strong understanding of wooden & metal furniture manufacturing

✔️ Knowledge of BOM / BOQ preparation

✔️ Knowledge of plywood, MDF, laminates, hardware, metal sections, pipes & fittings

✔️ MS Office – Excel, Word & PowerPoint

✔️ Good professional email communication

✔️ Paya/Payha software knowledge will be an added advantage

👤 DESIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE

⭐ 2–5 years of relevant experience in Furniture Design / Manufacturing

⭐ Experience in Modular Furniture, Office Furniture, Hotel Furniture, Interior Manufacturing or Furniture Fabrication preferred

⭐ Strong knowledge of furniture construction & manufacturing processes

⭐ Ability to convert client/architectural drawings into production-ready drawings

⭐ Good knowledge of furniture hardware, materials & fittings

⭐ Strong attention to detail and accuracy

⭐ Good problem-solving & coordination skills

⭐ Creative, technically sound & production-oriented
