We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Factory Manager to oversee the daily operations of our interior manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing production, ensuring quality standards, optimizing resources, and delivering projects on time while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, organize, and supervise daily factory operations.
Manage production schedules to ensure timely completion of orders.
Monitor manufacturing processes to maintain quality and efficiency.
Lead and supervise production teams, supervisors, and factory staff.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Coordinate with the design, procurement, planning, and project teams to meet production requirements.
Optimize the use of machinery, materials, and manpower to improve productivity.
Monitor production costs and implement cost-saving initiatives.
Oversee preventive maintenance of factory equipment and machinery.
Maintain inventory of raw materials and finished goods in coordination with the store and procurement departments.
Prepare production reports, performance metrics, and operational updates for management.
Identify process improvement opportunities and implement best manufacturing practices.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
5–10 years of experience in factory or production management, preferably in the interior fit-out, joinery, furniture, or woodworking industry.
Strong knowledge of production planning, quality control, and manufacturing processes.
Experience managing factory teams and achieving production targets.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems.
Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple production priorities.
Preferred Skills
Experience in joinery, furniture manufacturing, or interior fit-out production.
Knowledge of CNC machinery, woodworking equipment, and finishing processes.
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement practices.
Strong communication and team management abilities.
