Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Draftsman - Architectural / Interior at Studio Ardete located in Mohali district. The Draughtsman is responsible for creating plans and architectural renderings of buildings and creates drawings of buildings. These drawings may be used to communicate designs and plans to clients, engineers, contractors, vendors and construction workers.

You may work alone or as part of a team that includes architects, civil engineers, construction managers, and interior designers on the project typologies are like residential, commercial, industrial, or institutional etc.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in creating and preparing detailed architectural / Interior drawings, blueprints, and plans based on initial design concepts, sketches, and specifications.

• Use drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) to develop and modify architectural drawings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with design standards and project requirements.

• Collaborate with architects and design teams to understand project objectives, design intent, and technical requirements, incorporating feedback and revisions as needed.

• Conduct site visits and measurements to gather accurate data and information for creating and updating architectural plans and drawings.

• Working with the Project Manager, may direct, supervise, and check activities of workers engaged in preparing drawings and specification documents for the Conceptual Design Phase, Schematic Design Phase, and/or the Detailed Design Phase of a project.

• Works in tandem with highly collaborative multi-discipline design teams.

• Assists in research and coordination of materials and products for project specifications.

Qualifications

• Professional degree/diploma in architecture/interior

• Minimum 4 years experience in a high-quality architectural firm.

• Strong experience in educational, commercial, and public agency projects.

• Familiarity with various architectural codes, specifications, and designs

• Strong communication, computer, and administrative skills are required.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

• Capability to produce accurate floor plans, elevations, section layouts, and details

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit

• Knowledge of Building materials & construction Techniques

• It is a Full Time Architect / Interior Designer job for candidates with 3 - 6+ years Experience.
