Job Summary
DVM is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsman & Site Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between technical design and on-site execution. You will be responsible for creating precise architectural and technical drawings while ensuring that on-site construction aligns strictly with those plans, safety standards, and quality benchmarks.
Key Responsibilities
1. Drawing & Drafting
Prepare detailed architectural drawings, floor plans, and technical layouts using AutoCAD or similar software.
Develop and refine structural details, including earthquake-resistant R.C.C. frame specifications.
Modify existing drawings based on site requirements or regulatory changes (AUDA/i-ORA standards).
Maintain an organized digital library of all project blueprints and revisions.
2. Site Supervision
Oversee day-to-day operations on-site to ensure work is progressing according to the project timeline.
Verify that the materials used and the construction methods meet the company’s quality standards.
Coordinate with contractors, laborers, and external consultants to resolve technical issues on-site.
Ensure all safety protocols are strictly followed by the workforce.
3. Documentation & Coordination
Assist in preparing documentation for Non-Agricultural (NA) certification and other land revenue procedures.
Track site expenses, material deliveries, and daily labor reports.
Report regularly to senior management regarding project status and any potential bottlenecks.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Education: Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or ITI Draftsmanship.
Technical Proficiency: Expert knowledge of AutoCAD (2D/3D). Familiarity with Revit or SketchUp is a plus.
Experience: Previous experience in residential or commercial real estate development.
Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of local building codes, AUDA regulations, and GDCR norms.
Communication: Strong verbal communication skills in Gujarati and Hindi to effectively manage site teams.
Attention to Detail: High precision in drafting and a "sharp eye" for identifying errors on-site.
