Draftsman Architect

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Draftsman with proven expertise in MEP services, architectural drawings, and furniture/joinery detailing for high-end villas and commercial spaces. The role requires preparing precise, coordinated drawings that support design intent, execution quality, and smooth site implementation.

Key Responsibilities

Architectural Drafting (Villas & Commercial)

• Prepare detailed architectural drawings including plans, sections, elevations, and construction details.

• Develop GFC (Good for Construction) drawings aligned with approved concepts.

• Handle drawings for luxury villas, offices, retail, hospitality, and commercial buildings.

• Coordinate architectural layouts with MEP systems and furniture planning.

• Update drawings as per design revisions and site conditions.

MEP Drafting & Coordination

• Prepare detailed MEP shop drawings:

  • Electrical (lighting, power, low voltage)

  • Plumbing & drainage

  • HVAC & ventilation

  • Firefighting systems

• Ensure proper clash coordination between MEP, structure, architecture, and furniture.

• Incorporate consultant and authority comments into drawings.

• Support MEP coordination meetings with updated drawings.

Furniture & Joinery Drafting

• Prepare detailed furniture and joinery drawings for villas and commercial interiors.

• Create shop drawings with dimensions, materials, finishes, hardware, and fixing details.

• Coordinate with factory/production teams to ensure execution accuracy.

• Revise drawings based on mock-ups, samples, and site feedback.

Site & Execution Support

• Provide technical drawing support to site teams and project managers.

• Resolve drawing-related queries during execution.

• Conduct site visits to verify measurements and implementation feasibility.

• Maintain drawing versions, logs, and documentation records.

Software & Technical Skills

• AutoCAD – Mandatory

• Revit / BIM knowledge – Preferred

• Working knowledge of SketchUp / 3Ds Max (added advantage)

• Strong understanding of MEP systems, architectural construction, and furniture detailing

• Ability to interpret technical specifications, BOQs, and design intent

Qualifications

• Diploma / Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Interior Design, or Drafting

• Relevant experience in interior design, architectural, or turnkey fit-out firms
