Draftsman Architect

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Architectural Drafter role based in Gurugram. The Architectural Drafter will translate design concepts into accurate 2D and 3D architectural drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, and detailed construction documents. Responsibilities include preparing and updating working drawings, coordinating with architects and designers to refine spatial layouts, and ensuring that all documentation reflects the firm’s design intent and detailing standards. The role involves collaborating with project teams to incorporate feedback, aligning drawings with local codes and construction practices, and supporting site teams with clear, buildable documentation. The Architectural Drafter will also help maintain drawing standards, file organization, and version control across multiple concurrent projects.

Qualifications

Strong proficiency in Architectural Drawings and Construction Drawings, with the ability to produce clear, detailed, and coordinated documentation.

Solid foundation in Architecture and Planning, including understanding of spatial organization, functional layouts, and basic building systems.

Competence in technical Drawing, including 2D drafting and basic 3D visualization using industry-standard software AutoCAD,, SketchUp, or similar).

Diploma or degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, or a related field.

Ability to interpret design briefs, specifications, and markups accurately and efficiently.

Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management to handle multiple projects and deadlines.

Effective communication and collaboration skills to work closely with architects, designers, and site teams.

Familiarity with local building bylaws, regulations, and construction practices in India is an advantage
