Civil draughtsman

We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Swati Industries. This role involves managing storage, packing, inventory, and distribution of goods in the warehouse. You will play an important part in the supply chain team. The position offers ₹35000 - ₹55000 and opportunities to grow in your career.

Key Responsibilities

 Conduct field surveys of residential, commercial, and industrial properties.

 Verify and capture details related to:

o Additional built-up area

o Additional floors

o Unauthorized constructor/deviants

o Change of use (Residual to Commercial etc.)

o Covered common areas and occupancy violations

o FSI and footprint deviants

 Perform property measurements and prepare hand-drawn sketches/diagrams with

dimensions.

 DigiƟze survey drawings and maintain accurate survey records.

 Capture geo-tagged property photographs in multiple visible views.

 Collect GPS coordinates (Latuda & Longitude) of surveyed properties.

 Conduct door-to-door survey and verification.

 Coordinate with property owners/occupants during survey operations.

 Update survey data through mobile application/software.

 Prepare property-wise case papers, survey forms, and assessment-related documentation.

 Support generation of assessment/demand-related data as per municipal policies.

 Maintain daily/monthly survey progress reports.

 Ensure data accuracy and timely submission of survey record

 Assist in integration and verification of survey data with municipal/property tax records.

Swati Industries, Virar

 Revisit properties in case of complaints, corrections, or revisions.

Required Skills

 Knowledge of land/property survey techniques.

 Understanding of building measurements and area calculations.

 Familiarity with GIS/GPS mapping and geo-tagging.

 Basic knowledge of AutoCAD/MS Excel/Survey Software preferred.

 Ability to use mobile-based survey applications.

 Good communication and coordination skills.

 Ability to work extensively on field assignments.

Educational Qualification

 Diploma/B.Tech/B.E./Masters in:

o Civil Engineering

o Survey Engineering

o Planning

Additional Requirements

 Willingness to travel and work on field.

 Ability to handle survey targets and deadlines.

 Smartphone/mobile application handling capability.

 Knowledge of municipal/property assessment process is an added advantage.

 Should have knowledge of Building Byelaws & Development Control Regulations.
