Billing Executive

Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs) based on drawings and project scope.

• Prepare client RA bills and subcontractor bills as per actual work executed at site using Microsoft Excel.

• Visit project sites to take measurements and verify quantities before billing.

• Cross-check measurements submilling based on actual work executed.

  Key Responsibilities by site engineers and subcontractors.

• Prepare detailed rate analysis for various interior works, including materials, labour, and machinery.

• Coordinate with project managers and site engineers for billing updates and work progress.

• Verify and certify quantities for client billing and subcontractor payments.

• Negotiate rates with vendors and subcontractors to achieve cost-effective procurement.

• Maintain billing records, measurement sheets, and supporting documentation.

• Identify quantity variations and prepare variation statements.

• Assist the estimation team in preparing cost estimates and tender submissions.

• Ensure timely submission of bills and follow up on approvals.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of interior fit-out works (Civil, Carpentry, False Ceiling, Drywall, Painting, Flooring, Electrical, Plumbing, etc.).

• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, lookups, quantity sheets).

• Ability to prepare BOQs, measurement sheets, and billing formats.

• Good understanding of rate analysis and project costing.

• Ability to read architectural and interior drawings.

• Strong negotiation and communication skills.

• Attention to detail and excellent analytical ability.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualifications

• Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering or equivalent.

• 3–7 years of experience in billing and quantity surveying for interior fit-out projects.

• Experience with premium residential, commercial, healthcare, or hospitality projects will be preferred.

Preferred Candidate

• Experience in turnkey interior contracting.

• Comfortable travelling to project sites for measurements and verification.

• Strong commercial understanding of project execution and cost control.

• Immediate joiners or candidates with short notice periods will be preferred.
