Job Description

Prepare AutoCAD drawings for fire fighting systems including sprinkler systems, fire hydrants, hose reels, fire pumps, and suppression systems
Develop shop drawings, layout plans, schematics, and as-built drawings
Interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings to coordinate fire protection layouts
Ensure designs comply with NFPA, local fire codes, and project specifications
Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and site teams to resolve design issues
Revise drawings based on client, consultant, or authority comments
Maintain organized CAD files and drawing documentation
Support material take-offs and basic quantity calculations when required
Assist during site execution by providing updated drawings as needed
