AutoCAD Designer

Job Description – AutoCAD Draftsman / AutoCAD Operator (Surveying)

We are looking for an AutoCAD Draftsman / AutoCAD Operator to join our team at Surveying India at our Gurugram location. The role involves preparing survey drawings, drafting plans, updating layouts, and supporting the survey team with accurate CAD deliverables. The candidate should have strong drafting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with survey data.

This position offers an in-hand salary of ₹ 15k to 25k/month and opportunities to work on survey based mapping and infrastructure projects.

✅ Key Responsibilities

• Prepare 2D drawings in AutoCAD based on survey data (Total Station / DGPS / Drone etc.).

• Draft and update:

  • Topographic Survey Plans

  • Layout Plans

  • Contour Maps

  • Road/Utility drawings

• Cross-sections & Long-sections

• Convert survey files into CAD outputs (CSV / DXF / DWG).

• Ensure drawings are accurate with proper layers, legends, north direction, and annotations.

• Coordinate with the survey team for data clarification and corrections.

• Maintain drawing formats, documentation, and final deliverables as per client standards.

• Support in preparing drawings for submission and reports.

• Minimum qualification: [12th / Diploma / ITI / Graduate]

• Experience: [ 1–3 / 3–5 Years]

• Good knowledge of:

  • AutoCAD drafting standards

  • Survey drawings & mapping

  • Coordinates, contours, levels, chainage (preferred)

• Must be proficient in:

  • AutoCAD (mandatory)

  • Knowledge of Civil 3D / GIS / QGIS is an advantage

• Ability to work under deadlines with accuracy and responsibility.
