Job Opening – Assistant Design Engineer
Company: Quick Fit Engineering & Fabricators
Position: Assistant Design Engineer – Structural Design & Drafting
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Assistant Design Engineer with good technical knowledge and hands-on experience in structural design, drafting, and detailing of steel structures and fabricated engineering products.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare 2D drawings, 3D models, fabrication drawings, and detailed structural layouts.
- Develop accurate engineering drawings with dimensions, material specifications, and fabrication details.
- Assist in structural design, component development, and preparation of Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Coordinate with the production team to ensure design accuracy and manufacturing feasibility.
- Review and revise drawings based on technical and project requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong hands-on proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks is essential.
- Good understanding of steel structural design, fabrication, and detailing.
- Knowledge of structural sections, welding details, and engineering drawings.
- Ability to work independently with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical, Civil, or Structural Engineering.
- Experience: Preferably 2–5 years in structural design, drafting, or heavy fabrication engineering.
Industry Preference: Steel Fabrication, Offshore Equipment, Industrial Structures, and Heavy Engineering.
Job Location: Chandivali Office, Mumbai.
