Job Title: AutoCAD Draftsman / Designer – Formwork & Scaffolding
Location: Mumbai (Office-based, desk job)
Experience: Minimum 6 months to 3 years in formwork and scaffolding drawing/design
Salary: ₹10,000 – ₹30,000 per month (based on experience and skills)
Role overview-
We are looking for an AutoCAD draftsman to prepare formwork and scaffolding drawings for construction projects. You will work from structural and architectural drawings, coordinate with site and engineering teams, and deliver accurate, buildable drawings on time.
Responsibilities-
•Prepare formwork layouts for slabs, beams, columns, walls and staircases
•Prepare scaffolding and shoring layouts, including cuplock, ringlock and prop systems
•Read and interpret structural and architectural drawings
•Prepare material take-offs and component lists from drawings. (BOQ)
•Maintain drawing records, revision logs and a clean drawing register
Requirements-
•Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or ITI Draughtsman (Civil)
•Minimum 6months to 3 years of hands-on experience in formwork and scaffolding drawing
•Strong command of AutoCAD (2D drafting, layers, blocks, xrefs, plotting)
•Good understanding of formwork systems such as, ms formwork system and conventional formwork
•Ability to read structural drawings accurately
Good attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
