About the Role

We are looking for an experienced AutoCAD Designer / CAD Engineer with hands-on experience in manufacturing, engineering products, machine components, tooling, or industrial products.

The candidate will be responsible for preparing and modifying engineering drawings, manufacturing drawings, and technical documentation as per production and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare 2D AutoCAD drawings for manufacturing and engineering products.

• Prepare detailed manufacturing and fabrication drawings as per requirements.

• Modify existing drawings based on design or production changes.

• Prepare drawings with proper dimensions, tolerances, sections, and specifications.

• Understand engineering drawings and convert concepts/design requirements into manufacturing drawings.

• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Engineering, Sales and other departments.

• Take inputs from the production/engineering team and make necessary drawing corrections.

• Prepare drawings for machine components, tooling, fixtures, assemblies and industrial products.

• Maintain drawing revisions and proper documentation.

• Ensure drawings are accurate and suitable for manufacturing.

• Support Production and Quality teams in resolving drawing-related issues.

• Prepare and maintain BOM, drawing registers and technical documents, wherever required.

• Follow company drawing standards and revision-control procedures.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on knowledge of AutoCAD 2D.

• Good understanding of engineering drawings and manufacturing processes.

• Knowledge of dimensions, tolerances, GD&T and basic mechanical concepts.

• Ability to read and understand technical drawings.

• Good knowledge of machine components, fabrication, tooling or industrial products.

• Good coordination with Production and Quality teams.

• Knowledge of MS Excel and documentation.

• Attention to detail and accuracy.

Qualification

• Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering or related field.

• 2–5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, engineering, machinery, tooling or industrial products.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with experience in:

• Manufacturing / Engineering companies

• Machine components

• Tooling and fixtures

• Industrial machinery

• Fabrication

• Engineering products

• Production drawings

• Customer-specific drawings

will be preferred.

Candidate Profile

The candidate should be able to independently understand requirements, prepare accurate AutoCAD drawings, coordinate with manufacturing/production teams, and make drawing modifications as required for smooth production.

• It is a Full Time Architect / Interior Designer job for candidates with 6 months - 2 years of experience.
