Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented AutoCAD professional to join our design and engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for translating conceptual designs and sketches into precise technical drawings, blueprints, and 3D models using AutoCAD software. You will work closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure all designs meet client specifications and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Drafting: Create highly accurate 2D and 3D technical drawings based on rough sketches, verbal instructions, or design specifications.
Collaboration: Attend design discussions with multidisciplinary teams to clarify requirements and provide input on technical feasibility.
Design Updates: Revise and modify existing drawings based on client feedback, project updates, or field measurements.
Compliance & Standards: Ensure all designs comply with relevant industry standards, building codes, and safety regulations.
Documentation Management: Maintain and organize a systematic library of digital drawing files, revisions, and project documentation.
Quality Control: Perform self-checks and quality reviews on drawings to verify dimensional accuracy and completeness before final submission.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Education: Diploma or degree in Drafting, Engineering, Architecture, or a related technical field.
Software Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD (2D and 3D modelling).
Experience: Minimum 3 years of proven work experience in a similar drafting or design role.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of drafting principles, geometric concepts, and industry-specific symbols.
Detail Orientation: Exceptional attention to detail with a focus on precision and accuracy.
Soft Skills: Excellent time management, communication, and interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team-driven environment.
