AutoCAD Designer

Key Responsibilities

• Read and understand mechanical drawings, dimensions, and specifications.

• Support production and manufacturing activities.

• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Purchase, and Maintenance teams.

• Monitor production processes and ensure work is carried out as per specifications.

• Assist in preparing production reports, inspection reports, and other technical documents.

• Perform basic calculations related to dimensions, materials, weight, and production requirements.

• Assist in troubleshooting mechanical and production-related problems.

• Ensure proper use of measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, etc.

• Follow company safety procedures and quality standards.

• Assist in maintaining machine, tooling, and production records.

• Participate in process improvement and productivity enhancement activities.

• Support preventive maintenance and basic machine-related activities when required.

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of Mechanical Engineering fundamentals.

• Knowledge of Engineering Drawing and GD&T is an advantage.

• Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes such as CNC, VMC, machining, fabrication, etc.

• Knowledge of measuring instruments and inspection methods.

• Basic knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Willingness to learn and work in a manufacturing environment.

Preferred Knowledge

• AutoCAD / SolidWorks or other CAD software.

• CNC/VMC machining knowledge.

• Production planning and control.

• Quality inspection and documentation.

• Basic knowledge of ISO / quality systems.

Eligibility

• B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering preferred.

• Freshers are welcome to apply.

• Candidates with 0–2 years of relevant manufacturing experience may also apply.
