Job Title: AutoCAD Engineer / CAD Draftsman

Job Location: Mumbai, Andheri West, Maharashtra

Salary Budget: Upto ₹20,000/monthly based on skill & test performance

Experience: 1 – 2 Years in construction, interior design, or engineering consultancy.

About the Role:-

We are hiring a detail-oriented AutoCAD Engineer for our Mumbai office. You will convert architectural & engineering concepts into precise 2D/3D technical drawings using AutoCAD / Google SketchUp. Your work will guide site execution for construction & design projects.

Key Responsibilities

2D Drafting: Prepare floor plans, elevations, sections, and shop drawings in AutoCAD as per IS/NBC standards
3D Modeling: Develop 3D models in SketchUp/AutoCAD 3D for visualization and clash checking
Technical Detailing: Add accurate dimensions, materials, tolerances, and annotation per engineer inputs
Standards Compliance: Maintain layer names, lineweights, text styles, and dimension styles as per company template
Revisions: Update drawings based on site feedback, markups, and revision clouds with proper version control
Coordination: Work with architects, structural, and MEP teams to resolve clashes and ensure drawing accuracy
BOQ Support: Extract quantities from drawings using DATAEXTRACTION for material estimation
File Management: Organize DWG, PDF, and SKP files. Create plot-ready layouts in correct scale and CTB

Technical Skills Required:-

Software: Strong command of AutoCAD 2D + basic 3D. Google SketchUp knowledge preferred

Commands: Proficiency in Layers, Xref, Blocks, Layouts, Dimensions, Hatching, Plotting

Standards: Understanding of plan reading, scale, units, and construction symbols

Output: Ability to produce A1/A0 size GFC/IFC drawings with title blocks

Basic Knowledge: Civil/Architectural terms – FFL, SFL, RCC, brickwork, steel sections

Qualification: Diploma OR ITI Draughtsman Civil

Portfolio: Must carry sample drawings in interview - plans, details, 3D models

Soft Skills: Good at taking instructions, meeting deadlines, attention to detail

Note: Candidates will undergo a 30-min AutoCAD test during interview. Must be able to draft a basic room plan with dimensions.
