About the Role 3Wheels.AI is looking for a detail-oriented CAD Engineer with knowledge of computer-aided design and hands-on experience with SolidWorks. Freshers with relevant CAD skills and a strong willingness to learn are welcome to apply. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of engineering drawings, 3D modelling, and CAD design principles.

Key Responsibilities

● Create, modify, and maintain 2D drawings and 3D CAD models using SolidWorks.

● Develop accurate engineering designs based on technical requirements.

● Work with 3D modelling, assemblies, and part design.

● Interpret engineering drawings, dimensions, and design specifications.

● Review CAD models for accuracy, consistency, and completeness.

● Identify and correct design errors or modelling inconsistencies.

● Maintain proper documentation and organize CAD files.

● Collaborate with the team on design-related tasks and project requirements. Required Skills & Qualifications

● Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field.

● Knowledge of SolidWorks is preferred.

● Understanding of 2D drafting, 3D modelling, and engineering drawings.

● Familiarity with dimensions, tolerances, assemblies, and technical specifications.

● Basic knowledge of mechanical design principles.

● Attention to detail and good problem-solving skills.

● Freshers with relevant CAD knowledge and practical project experience are encouraged to apply. Good to Have

● Experience with SolidWorks Part Design, Assembly Design, and Drawing modules.

● Knowledge of AutoCAD or other CAD software.

● Understanding of GD&T and engineering standards.
