The Senior Interior Architect is responsible for leading the conceptualization, design development, and execution of interior architecture projects from start to finish. This role combines creative design leadership with strong technical expertise, ensuring that design intent, functionality, and quality standards are met across all project phases. The Senior Interior Architect collaborates with clients, consultants, and internal teams to deliver innovative, sustainable, and high-quality interior environments.
Design & Project Leadership
Lead the design process from concept through completion, ensuring alignment with client vision and project objectives.
Develop creative, functional, and aesthetic design solutions for a variety of interior environments (commercial, hospitality, residential, institutional, etc.).
Oversee the preparation of drawings, presentations, material selections, and specifications.
Ensure design intent is maintained throughout construction documentation and implementation.
Technical & Documentation
Produce and review detailed construction drawings and specifications for interior architecture elements (ceilings, partitions, joinery, finishes, lighting layouts, etc.).
Coordinate with MEP, structural, and other consultants to integrate all technical aspects into the design.
Conduct site inspections, review shop drawings, and resolve design-related issues during construction.
Client & Team Collaboration
Act as the main design liaison with clients, presenting ideas, concepts, and updates effectively.
Mentor junior designers and architects, providing guidance and quality control across project teams.
Collaborate with project managers to ensure deliverables meet budget, schedule, and quality standards.
Research & Innovation
Stay current with design trends, materials, sustainability practices, and technologies.
Integrate innovative design approaches and sustainable solutions into interior architecture projects.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Architecture, Architecture, or related field.
Minimum 8–12 years of relevant experience, with proven expertise in interior architectural design and project delivery.
Proficiency in design and documentation software: AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhino, BOQ,Enscape, or equivalent.
Strong knowledge of building codes, materials, and construction techniques.
