Architect

Key Responsibilities:

• Surface Preparation:

  • Sand wooden surfaces, panels, and components manually or using sanding machines to ensure a smooth finish.

  • Remove rough edges, scratches, glue marks, or any surface imperfections.

• Tool & Equipment Handling:

  • Operate hand sanders, orbital sanders, belt sanders, and other relevant tools.

  • Maintain tools in good working condition and report any faults immediately.

• Quality Assurance:

  • Inspect sanded surfaces for smoothness and uniformity before forwarding to the finishing or painting department.

  • Ensure adherence to design specifications and finishing standards.

• Safety & Housekeeping:

  • Follow all workplace safety guidelines, including wearing protective gear (masks, gloves, goggles).

  • Maintain cleanliness in the work area and proper disposal of sanding dust and waste.

Skills & Competencies:

• Knowledge of different types of wood and their sanding requirements.

• Ability to operate sanding machines and hand tools safely.

• Strong attention to detail and quality.

• Physical stamina for long hours of manual work.
