•Job Description:•

Shruti Patil Associates is looking for a skilled Furniture Draftsman with strong experience in preparing detailed furniture drawings for manufacturing and execution. The candidate will work closely with the design and production teams to convert concepts into accurate technical drawings.

•Key Responsibilities:•

▪️Prepare 2D detailed drawings for furniture (metal, wood, and hybrid furniture)

Create shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and assembly drawings

▪️Prepare cutting lists, BOMs, and material specifications

Interpret design concepts, sketches, and client requirements

▪️Coordinate with production and site teams for drawing clarifications

▪️Revise drawings based on feedback from engineering or manufacturing

▪️Maintain drawing standards and version control

•Required Skills:•

▪️Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory)

▪️Knowledge of furniture construction techniques

▪️Understanding of furniture details, metal fabrication, joinery details, etc.

▪️Ability to read and prepare production-ready drawings

▪️Basic understanding of materials like MS, SS, wood, plywood, laminates, finishes

▪️Attention to detail and accuracy

•Preferred Qualifications:•

▪️Diploma / Degree in Drafting, Mechanical, Civil, or Interior Design

▪️1–3 years experience in furniture or fabrication industry

▪️Experience in modular furniture, custom furniture, or home décor is an advantage

▪️Knowledge of 3D software (SketchUp/SolidWorks) is a plus
