JOB DESCRIPTION – INTERIOR DESIGNER

Job Summary

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to handle residential interior projects from initial client discussions through design finalization and execution. The candidate should have good design knowledge, communication skills, and the ability to coordinate with clients, vendors, factory, and site teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand client requirements, preferences, budget, and project scope.

• Prepare interior designs, layouts, and detailed drawings.

• Create 2D/3D designs and realistic renders as required.

• Prepare quotations and coordinate design details with the sales team.

• Present designs and quotations to clients and incorporate approved changes.

• Coordinate laminate, acrylic, PU, hardware, handles, profiles, and other material selections.

• Take and verify site measurements before finalizing designs.

• Coordinate with the factory and installation team for production and execution.

• Visit project sites to monitor execution and resolve design-related issues.

• Ensure designs are practical, accurate, and suitable for production.

• Maintain project-wise drawings, measurements, quotations, and revisions.

• Follow up with clients for design approvals and finalization.

• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure projects are completed within the planned timeline.

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of residential interior design.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D/Rendering software, and/or Infurnia.

• Knowledge of modular kitchen, wardrobe, furniture, and other interior products.

• Understanding of materials, hardware, dimensions, and construction details.

• Good communication and client-handling skills.

• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to coordinate effectively with sales, factory, and installation teams.

Qualification

• Diploma/Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.

• Relevant experience in residential interior design will be an advantage.
