2D/3D Interior Designer

The Interior Designer will be responsible for developing interior design concepts, preparing detailed drawings and presentations, coordinating with clients and consultants, and supporting the execution of projects at site.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of space planning, materials, furniture, finishes, lighting, working drawings and interior execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop interior design concepts based on client requirements, project brief and budget.

• Prepare space planning, furniture layouts, reflected ceiling plans and detailed interior drawings.

• Develop working drawings and construction details for site execution.

• Prepare material, finish and colour selections.

• Create 3D models, views and presentations for client approvals.

• Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, vendors and site supervisors.

• Conduct site visits and ensure design intent is properly implemented.

• Review site conditions and resolve design/execution-related issues.

• Prepare BOQ/material specifications when required.

• Coordinate with vendors and contractors regarding drawings, dimensions, materials and finishes.

• Assist in preparing quotations, material selections and project presentations.

• Monitor design quality and ensure work is executed according to approved drawings.

• Attend client meetings and incorporate feedback into design proposals.

• Prepare revisions and maintain proper drawing/documentation records.

• Assist with snagging, final inspection and project handover.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of interior design and space planning.

• Good understanding of materials, finishes, furniture, lighting and construction techniques.

• Ability to prepare detailed working and execution drawings.

• Good knowledge of AutoCAD.

• Experience with SketchUp and 3D visualization/rendering software.

• Knowledge of Photoshop, 3ds Max, V-Ray, Lumion, Enscape or similar software will be an advantage.

• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural and MEP drawings.

• Good knowledge of site execution and interior construction.

• Strong communication and client-handling skills.

• Good design sense, attention to detail and problem-solving ability.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

• It is a Full Time Architect / Interior Designer job for candidates with 2 - 5 years of experience.
