About the role
FURNILUXE is a furniture and interior design brand delivering turnkey interiors and custom furniture across the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. We're hiring a 2D/3D Interior Designer to turn client briefs into clear layouts and convincing 3D visuals that help us design and win projects. You'll work directly with our design lead and coordinate with the carpentry and sales teams.
What you'll do
Understand client space and style preferences from meetings or briefs
Produce 2D floor plans, furniture layouts, and detailing/working drawings in AutoCAD
Build 3D models and client-ready renders in SketchUp + [your rendering tool: Enscape / V-Ray / 3Ds Max]
Design and detail custom furniture and joinery for manufacture
Carry out site surveys and measurements, and adapt designs to site realities
Revise designs from client and internal feedback; keep project files organized
What we're looking for
Hands-on ability in AutoCAD and SketchUp (rendering skills a strong plus)
A portfolio of interior and/or furniture work — layouts and renders. Applications without work samples won't be shortlisted.
Practical knowledge of interior detailing, materials, and how a design actually gets built
Comfortable working closely with a small, fast-moving team
Based in or able to commute to Thane / MMR
Good to have
Photoshop for mood boards and render post-production
Experience with residential turnkey fit-outs
