Job Summary
A Kitchen Designer–Sales Executive combines creative kitchen design expertise with sales skills to deliver customized kitchen solutions. The role involves meeting clients, understanding their lifestyle and requirements, creating functional and aesthetic kitchen designs, generating quotations, and closing sales while ensuring high customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
1. Client Consultation & Needs Assessment
Meet clients to understand their space, preferences, budget, and functional requirements.
Conduct site visits to take accurate measurements and assess installation feasibility.
Provide expert advice on layouts, materials, appliances, and design trends.
2. Kitchen Design & Planning
Create detailed 2D/3D kitchen designs using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, 2020 Design, KCD).
Develop modular kitchen layouts (L-shaped, U-shaped, island, parallel, etc.).
Ensure ergonomic and functional design principles (work triangle, storage planning, lighting, etc.).
3. Sales & Revenue Generation
Present designs and proposals to clients with clear cost breakdowns.
Handle pricing, negotiations, and closing sales.
Upsell accessories, appliances, and premium finishes.
Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets.
4. Coordination & Project Management
Coordinate with vendors, factory teams, contractors, and installers.
Ensure accurate production of design specifications.
Oversee project timelines to ensure smooth execution and on-time delivery.
5. Customer Relationship Management
Provide pre- and post-sales support.
Resolve client queries promptly.
Maintain long-term customer relationships for referrals and repeat business.
Required Skills & Competencies
Technical Skills
Strong knowledge of modular kitchen systems, materials, hardware, and appliances.
Proficiency in design software (CAD tools).
Understanding of interior design principles and measurements.
Sales Skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Negotiation and closing ability.
Customer-centric approach.

Educational Qualifications
Diploma/Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field preferred.
Training or certification in modular kitchen design is a plus.
Experience
Typically 1–5 years in kitchen design, modular furniture, interior design, or retail home solutions.
Freshers with design training and strong sales interest may also fit.

Salary
20,000/- to 22000/- per month (all statutory benefits) & TA as per actual
