Job Summary:

Stained Glass House is looking for a dedicated and skilled Stained Glass Design & Drafting Artist to join us full-time at our studio. This role is ideal for someone with a mix of technical precision and creative flair, who can handle both black line production drawings and colored presentation renderings for stained glass artworks.

You will work closely with our design and production team to bring custom stained glass concepts to life — from accurate technical plans to visually engaging client visuals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create precise 2D black line drawings (cutting patterns and layouts) for stained glass production

• Fill line drawings with colored glass visuals for client presentations

• Prepare and organize files in formats like DWG, AI, PDF for production and client use

• Ensure accuracy of lead lines, proportions, and fitting to dimensions

• Collaborate with the creative team for custom designs and changes

• Maintain consistency and clarity in all drawings and visuals

Required Skills:

• AutoCAD or CorelDRAW (for line drawings)

• Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop (for color-filled visuals)

• Basic understanding of stained glass layout and design principles

• Attention to detail, consistency, and ability to follow guidelines

• Good communication and file management skills
