2D/3D Architect

Imagination Infratech is looking for a Senior Architect to lead and coordinate architectural work for projects based out of Bhubaneswar(Udisha) .

This is a key role for someone who is confident in design development, technical documentation, consultant coordination and site execution. The selected candidate will also play an important role in establishing and developing our Bhubaneswar office and local project operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design and development from concept through execution.

• Prepare and review design drawings, working drawings and detailed architectural documentation.

• Coordinate with structural, MEP and other consultants.

• Regularly visit project sites to monitor progress and ensure design intent and quality are maintained.

• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, consultants and site teams.

• Resolve architectural and technical issues arising during execution.

• Review shop drawings, material samples and site details.

• Conduct site measurements, inspections and prepare reports wherever required.

• Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with approved drawings, specifications and timelines.

• Participate in client meetings and coordinate design-related discussions.

• Track project progress and communicate key updates to the Delhi/head office.

• Travel locally and to project sites as required.

Bhubaneswar Office Setup

The Senior Architect will have an important role in setting up and establishing the Bhubaneswar office, including:

• Supporting the initial setup and day-to-day functioning of the office.

• Helping establish local project coordination processes.

• Building relationships with local consultants, contractors, vendors and other project stakeholders.

• Supporting recruitment/coordination of the local architectural team as the office grows.

• Representing Imagination Infratech professionally with clients and project partners.

• Acting as the key local point of contact for ongoing projects.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• B.Arch. from a recognised institution.

• 5–10 years of relevant architectural experience.

• Strong experience in architectural design, detailing and project coordination.

• Good working knowledge of AutoCAD; proficiency in SketchUp/Revit and other design software will be an advantage.

• Strong understanding of construction, materials and detailing.

• Ability to interpret and coordinate architectural, structural and MEP drawings.

• Strong site-execution and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to independently manage responsibilities and coordinate multiple stakeholders.

• Willingness to travel regularly for site visits.

• Candidates with experience in setting up/operating a regional office or managing projects independently will be preferred.

• It is a Full Time Architect / Interior Designer job for candidates with 4 - 6+ years Experience.
