Role Summary:
The Physical Verification Executive will be responsible for conducting on-site physical verification of assets, plant & machinery, inventory, and records as per audit scope. The role requires coordination with client representatives, accurate documentation, and timely reporting of verification results.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct physical verification of fixed assets, plant & machinery, and inventory as per approved audit plan.
Match physical assets with asset registers, FAR, tags, and supporting documents.
Ensure asset tagging (existing / new / blank tags) as per defined guidelines.
Identify and report missing, damaged, idle, or untraceable assets.
Capture photographic evidence and maintain proper audit trails.
Record observations, discrepancies, and remarks clearly and accurately.
Coordinate with client staff, plant teams, and HO teams during verification.
Prepare and submit daily progress reports to the Team Lead.
Ensure compliance with audit timelines, confidentiality, and professional conduct.
Support closure activities including re-verification, clarification, and final reporting.
Required Skills & Competencies:
Basic understanding of audit, physical verification, and asset management
Ability to read and understand asset registers and supporting documents
Good communication and coordination skills
Attention to detail and strong documentation skills
Comfortable with field work and travel
Basic knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets
Ability to work under tight timelines and pressure
Qualification:
Graduate in Commerce / Accounting / Finance / Management
(Freshers can be considered; audit experience is a plus)
Experience:
0–3 years experience in physical verification, audit, or field operations
Experience in plant, factory, or branch audits will be an added advantage
Other Requirements:
Willingness to travel extensively
Ability to work in industrial / plant environments
Smartphone with camera for documentation (if required)
High level of integrity and professionalism
