As a Trade and Working Capital Operations Associate in the Trade and Working Capital Operations team, you deliver business solutions that support bank trade finance products and related transactions. You provide transactional expertise to ensure accurate and timely processing in line with International Chamber of Commerce guidelines, internal procedures, and the trade finance policy manual. You lead daily execution and team coordination while maintaining a strong focus on risk management and operational excellence. Job Responsibilities: Process import letter of credit issuances and releases for global clients. Release export letter of credit advising and confirmation transactions for global clients. Validate import letter of credit documents in accordance with applicable rules and procedures. Ensure transactions align with internal procedures and International Chamber of Commerce rules (including UCP 600, ISBP, and URR). Deliver assigned transactions with high quality and within agreed service level agreements. Monitor work queues, assign transactions, and follow up on pending items. Escalate potential red flags, sanctions concerns (including Office of Foreign Assets Control), anti-money laundering concerns, and boycott language issues for review. Lead daily huddles and meetings to share process updates and key priorities. Coordinate with global operations partners to manage day-to-day work. Plan leave coverage and manage daily volume prioritization. Foster an inclusive environment for all employees and provide regular, constructive feedback to direct reports. Required qualifications, skills, and capabilities: Demonstrate 1+ years of experience managing a team. Apply working knowledge of URC, UCP 600, URR, and ISBP in trade finance processing. Perform subject matter execution in letter of credit issuance, advising, confirmation, and document checking processes. Manage queue monitoring, work allocation, and prioritization across a team. Maintain a delivery mindset to ensure timely completion of work. Interpret United States regulations and Office of Foreign Assets Control requirements relevant to trade finance activity. Communicate clearly through oral, written, and presentation skills. Execute project management activities to support process delivery and improvement. Preferred qualifications, skills, and capabilities: Hold a Certified Documentary Credit Specialist certification. Hold a Certificate in International Trade and Finance certification.
