Job Description:

We are looking for an Accounts & Taxation Executive with strong practical knowledge of TDS, Income Tax Returns (ITR), accounting and financial records.

The primary responsibility of this role will be to handle TDS and ITR-related work along with day-to-day accounting activities. The candidate should be comfortable working with financial data, reconciliations, statutory compliance and client-related documentation.

Candidates with experience in a CA firm, taxation firm or accounting consultancy will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle TDS calculation, deduction, payment and return filing.

• Prepare and manage TDS returns and related compliance work.

• Handle Income Tax Return (ITR) preparation and filing for individuals, firms and companies as applicable.

• Review financial information and supporting documents required for ITR preparation.

• Assist in Income Tax compliance and related documentation.

• Perform TDS reconciliation and resolve differences in records.

• Maintain proper records of TDS certificates, challans, returns and other tax documents.

• Handle day-to-day accounting entries and bookkeeping.

• Assist in preparation of Profit & Loss Account and Balance Sheet.

• Perform bank, ledger and other account reconciliations.

• Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting documents.

• Coordinate with senior team members/CA for tax and accounting assignments.

• Assist with tax notices, queries and other compliance-related work when required.

• Ensure assigned work is completed accurately and within statutory deadlines.

• Work on MS Excel and accounting software for accounting and taxation-related activities.

Primary Skills Required:

• Strong practical knowledge of TDS.

• Practical experience in Income Tax Return (ITR) filing.

• Good understanding of Income Tax provisions and basic taxation concepts.

• Good knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping.

• Knowledge of Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet.

• Experience in ledger and bank reconciliation.

• Good command of MS Excel.

Preferred Candidate:

• 1–2 years of practical experience in TDS, ITR and accounting.

• Candidates from a CA firm / Tax Consultancy / Accounting Firm will be preferred.

• • Candidate should have practical, hands-on experience rather than only theoretical knowledge.

• Ability to independently handle assigned TDS, ITR and accounting work.

• Good communication and analytical skills.

• It is a Full Time Accountant job for candidates with 1 - 2 years of experience.
