Internship Profile: Taxation & Compliance Intern

Duration: 4-6 Months

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Preparation and finalization of financial statements as per applicable accounting standards and support in audit processes.

2. Filing of Income Tax Returns, TDS/TCS returns, and other Income Tax forms.

3. Handling GST compliances including GST registration, return filing (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9/9C, etc.) and responding to GST departmental notices.

4. Assisting in incorporation of Companies/LLP/OPC and MCA-related compliances (ROC filings, annual forms, DIN KYC, etc.).

5. Trademark search, application filing, responding to examination reports, show-cause hearings, and other IP proceedings.

6. Filing and follow-up of various licenses and registrations such as FSSAI, Corporate Agency License, FCRA, MSME, ISO, etc.

7. Drafting and filing replies to Income Tax, GST, and Trademark departmental notices and assisting seniors in assessments/proceedings.

8. Updating clients on due dates and compliance timelines, assisting in follow-ups, and maintaining compliance trackers.

9. Coordination with clients, departments, and senior team members to ensure smooth execution of assignments.
