Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. Tax Accounting

Record and reconcile tax-related transactions in the accounting system.
Assist in preparation of tax schedules and ledgers (GST, TDS, Income Tax, etc.).

2. Tax Compliance

· Assist in preparation and filing of GST returns, TDS returns, advance tax, and income tax returns.

· Coordinate with internal teams and clients for data collation required for compliance.

3. Tax Litigation Support

· Represent client before tax authorities

4. MIS & Client Reporting

Prepare monthly/quarterly/yearly MIS reports for clients covering compliance status, tax payments, and assessments.
Highlight pending compliance, exposure, and risk areas through MIS.

Skills & Competencies

Strong understanding of direct & indirect taxation (GST, TDS, Income Tax).
Basic knowledge of tax litigation process and departmental assessments.
Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and accounting software (Tally/ERP).
Good analytical and communication skills.
Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
