Job Description

Tax Accountant:Job Description:Strong knowledge Tax matters in GST/VAT/TDS/Income Tax/ company related.Knowledge in Hotel Accounting software such as Prolific/Opera/I-dine etc.Experienced in preparation of working for periodical tax payments of VAT, GST, TDS and Income Tax and such other tax laws as are applicable to the Company/Hotel/Restaurants.Compile tax working for payments and returns including GST/VAT/TDS/Income tax/Other related tax.Organize and update the companys tax database and files.Actively involved in resolving queries relating to GST/VAT/Income Tax.Actively involved in periodical returns filing such as GSTR1, GSTR3B, input tax credit reconciliations, VAT filing and TDS filing.Reconciliation of tax data & Tax Returns with Accounting records, respective ledgers and provisions in relevant tax laws and passing of regular accounting entries.Keep abreast of current developments and advise the management of latest amendments, changes in all related tax lawsFollow industry trends and track changes related to taxes and advise the management from time to time.Interact with all the Departments/Company Units and compile and advise related tax matters.Liaise with internal and external auditors, Tax Agencies, and tax consultants including for all the Units of the Company.Attend tax assessments and represent respective Govt Tax AuthoritiesStrongly adher to the set due dates for Tax payments, return filing datesGood mastery in Company tax Accounting and General Accounting related to Company.Strong command in Drafting and on Tax related communications and representations.RequirementProven work experience as a Tax Accountant, Tax Analyst or Tax Preparer.Knowledge of accounting including Advanced Accounting.Computer literacy (MS Excel, Word etc) Familiar with Hotel accounting software packages and familiar in working on volumnous data with excel mastery.Excellent analytical and time management skillsStrong numeracy skills, Keen attention to detail.B.Com/BSc degree in Accounting, Finance, & Taxation or relevant 3+ years of tax accoun
