Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and technically sound Tally Support Executive to provide end-to-end support to our clients. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in handling Tally software features, data migration, system configurations, backup management, and Tally on Cloud setup. The candidate must be capable of providing both remote and on-site support.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical support for Tally Prime / Tally ERP 9 to clients over call, remote session, and on-site visits.
Assist in Tally installation, activation, and licensing setup on client systems.
Manage data migration between versions or systems, including error handling and data integrity checks.
Perform system configuration for optimal Tally performance, including multi-user setups and printer/network integrations.
Implement and educate clients on Tally key features such as:
Inventory & Accounting Management
GST & Taxation Modules
Payroll Processing
Security Controls and User Roles
Cost Centre and Budgeting features
Handle data backup, restore, and data split requests ensuring minimal downtime and data safety.
Support clients in understanding and using Tally on Cloud – coordinate with cloud service providers, assist in setup, and provide ongoing support.
Generate and maintain client support logs, documentation, and service reports.
Requirements:
Education: Graduate in Commerce or IT-related field; Tally certification is a must.
Experience: Minimum 3 years in Tally support role, preferably in a service or IT consulting company.
Technical Skills:
Deep knowledge of Tally Prime / ERP 9
System configuration and troubleshooting
Basic understanding of LAN, firewall, and printer configuration
Familiarity with cloud-based Tally access and remote desktop tools
Soft Skills:
Strong communication and client-handling skills
Problem-solving and proactive attitude
Ability to work independently and under pressure
