Job Description

Job Title: Tally Executive (Accounts & MIS – MS Excel)

Role Overview

Responsible for day-to-day accounting in Tally and preparing MIS reports in Excel to support management decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Enter and maintain daily accounting transactions in Tally
Maintain ledgers, cash book, bank book, and stock records
Perform bank and party reconciliations
Prepare weekly outstanding (receivables/payables) statements
Prepare weekly stock statements and track shortages/variances
Assist with month-end closing, trial balance, and financial summaries
Prepare MIS reports in Excel (sales, expenses, ageing, cash flow, etc.)
Maintain documentation and provide basic audit support

Skills & Qualifications

Hands-on experience with Tally ERP / Tally Prime
Good working knowledge of MS Excel (Pivot, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, basic analysis)
Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to meet deadlines
