Job Description

Job Title: Tally Executive (Accounts & MIS – MS Excel)


Role Overview


Responsible for day-to-day accounting in Tally and preparing MIS reports in Excel to support management decisions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Enter and maintain daily accounting transactions in Tally
  • Maintain ledgers, cash book, bank book, and stock records
  • Perform bank and party reconciliations
  • Prepare weekly outstanding (receivables/payables) statements
  • Prepare weekly stock statements and track shortages/variances
  • Assist with month-end closing, trial balance, and financial summaries
  • Prepare MIS reports in Excel (sales, expenses, ageing, cash flow, etc.)
  • Maintain documentation and provide basic audit support

Skills & Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with Tally ERP / Tally Prime
  • Good working knowledge of MS Excel (Pivot, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, basic analysis)
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to meet deadlines
