Job Overview

• Role: Tally Executive / Accounts Executive

• Core Tool: TallyPrime / Tally ERP 9

• Primary Goal: Maintain accurate financial records and ensure smooth bookkeeping operations. [1, 2, 3, 4]

Key Responsibilities

• Daily Bookkeeping: Record sales, purchases, receipts, and payment vouchers accurately in Tally.

• Bank Reconciliation: Match company books with bank statements and clear discrepancies.

• Tax Compliance: Manage GST entries, tax filings, and TDS deductions.

• Accounts Payable/Receivable: Monitor vendor accounts, client payments, and track outstanding invoices.

• Inventory Management: Update stock levels and generate purchase orders or sales invoices.

• Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing profit and loss accounts, balance sheets, and audit documentation. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7]

Qualifications and Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or related finance field.

• Software Skills: Proficiency in Tally ERP 9/Prime and Microsoft Excel.

• Knowledge: Fundamental accounting principles and Indian statutory tax rules

Role Description This full-time, on-site Tax Consultant role is based in Vadodara. The Tax Consultant will manage day-to-day tax activities, including preparing tax returns, reviewing financial records, and ensuring timely and accurate tax filings. The role involves advising the organization on tax planning opportunities, monitoring changes in tax regulations, and assessing the impact on the company’s operations. The Tax Consultant will coordinate with internal departments and external authorities during tax audits, support compliance documentation, and help develop internal controls related to taxation. The position requires maintaining organized records, preparing reports for management, and providing clear explanations of tax issues and recommendations.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Tax Planning and Tax Preparation, with the ability to optimize tax positions while maintaining compliance.

• Proficiency in Tax Compliance and Tax Audits, including preparing documentation, responding to queries, and supporting regulatory reviews.

• Solid understanding of Tax Law, with the capacity to interpret and apply relevant statutes, rules, and updates to business operations.

• Experience with accounting principles, financial statement review, and use of tax or accounting software tools.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.

• Effective communication skills for explaining tax concepts to non-specialists and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

• Ability to work on-site in Vadodara, manage deadlines, and handle multiple assignments in a structured manner.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional tax or accounting certifications are an advantage.
