Learn more at Planful.com . About the role Planful is seeking a customer-focused Solution Architect to join our Customer Success team. As a Customer Optimization Solution Architect, you will be an expert working with existing Planful customers evaluating their current business processes, use cases and application challenges, finance transformation goals, and technology needs. You will bring deep experience in financial performance management and a strong understanding of how EPM solutions support planning, budgeting, forecasting, consolidations, reporting, and analytics. Planful is looking for a dynamic, high-energy professional with prior hands-on experience working with EPM tools and at least 3+ years of experience on EPM solutions and FP&A background. In this role, you will partner closely with Account Management, Customer Success, Support and other cross-functional teams to support existing customers reviewing the current architecture of their application. Requirements Strong finance background with at least 3+ years’ experience in FP&A and EPM tools. Ability to understand and explain both business and technical issues related to a customer’s proposed solution. A collaborative and customer centric mindset to help customers with their finance performance management. Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple customer engagements and priorities simultaneously. Ability to deliver product demos and presentations to finance, accounting, and executive audiences. Responsibilities Lead conversation with customers to understand their ongoing challenges with existing setup and come up with optimal solutions. Maintain strong product competence by staying current on new product enhancements, best practices, and market trends across the EPM domain. Cross collaborates with internal teams, Customer Success, Account Management, Product and Engineering teams to support customers. Serves as an expert on Planful FP&A suite and shares best practices with customers around FP&A practices. Act as an escalation point for complex functional challenges, focusing on root cause analysis and long-term resolution Proactively identify risks, gaps, and opportunities, and provide actionable recommendations to improve outcomes Assess existing customer configurations and recommend enhancements aligned to current and future business needs Why Planful Planful exists to enrich the world by helping our customers and our people achieve peak performance.
