About the role As a Regional Tax Compliance Senior Analyst – Direct Tax, you will report to the Area Tax Compliance & Reporting Snr Manager with a dotted line to the Controller for the respective market(s), supporting tax compliance and reporting activities across multiple jurisdictions. You will support with preparation and review tax filings, analyse tax positions, and provide insights to support business decisions. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of Direct Tax matters, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and develop your expertise in a dynamic, global environment. Your responsibilities Support preparation and review of direct tax returns and supporting documentation. Review of direct tax returns prepared by an Outsource Partner (Big4 firm). Prepare and support group tax reporting including submissions into Longview. Assist in gathering and analyzing financial data for tax reporting and direct tax compliance. Coordinate with internal departments to ensure accurate and timely direct tax submissions. Prepare filings for relevant transactional taxes, such as withholding, stamp duty etc. and obtain the associated certificates. Preparation of local tax returns (e.g. municipal, state) and supporting documentation. The experience we're looking for • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or tax • 5-8 years of experience in tax compliance or analysis • Strong technical knowledge of highly fragmented direct tax regulations in the regions The skills for success • Experience working in the Shared Service Center and Center of Excellent environment is desired • Advance English; other European languages (e.g. Portuguese, French, Italian) is a plus • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills • Experience in working with SAP; experience working with tax accounting and reporting software is a plus • Strong communication and teamwork abilities .
