The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager – to lead and expand treasury solution offerings for global clients. This role operates at the intersection of business development, treasury operations, transformation, and digital enablement, driving scalable, efficient, and controlled financial processes across engagements. As a Senior Manager, you will be responsible for driving new business opportunities, engaging with clients to understand their treasury and liquidity challenges, and positioning tailored solutions. In addition, you will lead delivery teams to manage end-to-end treasury cash operations, including daily cash management, liquidity planning, banking relationships, risk management and process optimization. Your Key Responsibilities Business Development & Client Engagement Identify and drive new business opportunities in cash & liquidity management, treasury operations, and transformation engagements Engage with clients to understand treasury challenges and position relevant solution offerings Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including CFOs, Treasury Heads, and banking partners Solutioning & Advisory Lead end-to-end solutioning across cash management, liquidity planning, and treasury operations Provide advisory on optimizing cash utilization, reducing idle balances, and improving working capital efficiency Support clients in designing short-term liquidity strategies and cash forecasting frameworks Treasury Operations Expertise Provide oversight and advisory on payment execution processes (domestic and international), ensuring best practices Guide clients on bank account management, treasury controls, and operational efficiency Bring insights on treasury systems (TMS) and process optimization Forecasting & Insights Drive development of cash flow forecasting models (weekly/monthly rolling forecasts) Analyze variances and provide actionable insights to improve liquidity planning Present treasury insights and performance reports to senior client leadership Banking & Stakeholder Management Support clients in managing banking relationships, including fee negotiations and service optimization Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, AP/AR, FP&A, Tax) to ensure integrated treasury solutions Act as a strategic advisor on banking structures and credit facilities Transformation & Process Improvement Lead treasury transformation initiatives, including automation and digitization Drive adoption of Treasury Management Systems (TMS) and enhance operational efficiency Identify opportunities for continuous improvement across cash and liquidity processes Skills and attributes for success CA or bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field 9-15 years of experience in treasury, cash operations, or corporate finance Experience in consulting firms, professional services, or multinational environments preferred Strong understanding of cash management, banking systems, and financial controls Working Experience in at least one leading Treasury management system (TMS) What we look for: Demonstrates strong expertise in cash forecasting and liquidity management, guiding the team on best practices Possesses working knowledge of leading Treasury Management Systems (e.g., Kyriba, SAP Treasury, Oracle) and supports team adoption Effectively manages stakeholders and maintains clear, professional communication with clients and internal teams Ensures high attention to detail within the team, with a strong focus on risk awareness and control adherence Leads the team in a fast-paced, client-driven consulting environment, ensuring timely and quality deliverables Applies strong analytical and financial modeling skills to support decision-making and mentor team members What we offer you At EY, we’ll develop you with future-focused skills and equip you with world-class experiences.
