Job Description

Job Title: Senior Accountant
Location: Kandivali West, Mumbai

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in basic accounting principles, balance sheet preparation, and bank reconciliation processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee daily accounting activities
Prepare and review balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and other financial reports
Perform regular bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
Maintain general ledger and ensure accurate recording of transactions
Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
Coordinate with auditors and support audit requirements
Monitor financial data for accuracy and completeness

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
4–7 years of relevant accounting experience
Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices
Accounts Finalization
Hands-on experience with balance sheet preparation and bank reconciliation
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP systems) and MS Excel
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Strong communication and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in a similar role within a mid-sized or large organization
Knowledge of statutory compliance and taxation basics
