Senior Accountant

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the company’s accounting operations, ensuring the accuracy of financial records, compliance with regulations, and providing financial insights to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports

• Manage general ledger entries and reconcile accounts

• Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing processes

• Monitor and manage budgets and forecasting activities

• Handle tax planning, filing (GST, TDS, Income Tax), and liaise with auditors

• Maintain compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements

• Assist in internal and external audits

• Prepare MIS reports and support management with financial analysis

• Supervise and guide junior accountants and accounts assistants

• Evaluate and improve accounting systems and controls

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting / Finance / Commerce

• CA Inter / CMA Inter preferred (Not mandatory)

• Minimum 2+ years of relevant accounting experience

• It is a Full Time Accountant job for candidates with 2 - 4 years of experience.
