Senior Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

• Accounts Payable Management:

Oversee the entire accounts payable process, including invoice processing, vendor payments, and expense reimbursements.

Ensure accuracy and completeness of all accounts payable transactions.

Develop and maintain relationships with vendors to facilitate smooth payment processes and resolve any issues that may arise.

• Trial Balance Maintenance:

Prepare and maintain accurate trial balances for multiple accounts.

Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate recording of financial transactions.

• Financial Analysis:

Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.

Conduct variance analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on financial data.

• Compliance Specialist:

Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards, regulations, and legal requirements to ensure compliance like TDS, GST, ESIC, EPF, PT.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Commerce or related field.

• Proven experience in accounts payable management and trial balance reconciliation with expertise in Tally Prime software.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.

• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
