Senior Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to oversee our accounting operations, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and provide accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, leadership qualities, and the ability to manage day-to-day accounting tasks as well as month-end and year-end processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and reports.

Oversee daily accounting operations including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger.

Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.

Prepare financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.

Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts.

Monitor budgets and forecasts to ensure cost control.

Ensure compliance with taxation laws, audits, and financial regulations.

Assist in developing internal control policies and procedures.

Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.

Support management with financial analysis and decision-making reports.

Supervise and guide junior accounting staff.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s or CA/CPA preferred).

Minimum 4–7 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior role.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting.

Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, or ERP systems).

Advanced MS Excel and analytical skills.

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability.

Strong organizational and leadership skills.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Salary Range:

40K to 50K
