Job Summary:
The Senior Accountant is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities, ensuring accurate financial records, compliance with statutory regulations, and timely reporting. The role supports financial planning, audits, taxation, and internal controls.
Key Responsibilities:
•Maintain and review books of accounts, including ledger scrutiny and reconciliations
•Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
•Handle GST, TDS, income tax compliance, and statutory filings
•Ensure timely closing of accounts and month-end processes
•Manage accounts payable and receivable
•Coordinate with auditors for internal and statutory audits
•Prepare MIS reports and support management decision-making
•Monitor cash flow, bank reconciliations, and fund utilization
•Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
•Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analytics
Required Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and taxation
Experience with Tally, ERP systems, and MS Excel
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Good communication and coordination skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com); M.Com preferred
CA (Inter) / CMA (Inter) is an added advantage
Experience:
8-11 years of relevant accounting experience
Preferred Industry Experience:
Manufacturing / Infrastructure / Construction / Services (as applicable
