Senior Accountant

Position Title:  Senior Accountant

Qualification:   Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Commerce or a related field. (CA Inter preferred)

Job Location: Sewri OR Bhiwandi

Experience:  5 years

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, receivable, bank reconciliations, and ledger maintenance.

• Prepare and file GST returns, TDS, and other statutory tax filings as per Indian tax laws.

• Ensure timely compliance with Income Tax, GST, and other statutory requirements.

• Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closing of books of accounts.

• Oversee internal audits and coordinate with external auditors for annual audits.

• Monitor and maintain records in Tally ERP; ensure accurate data entry and report generation.

• Prepare financial reports such as balance sheet, P&L statement, cash flow, and management MIS reports.

• Provide financial analysis and suggestions for cost control and budgeting.

• Ensure adherence to company policies and applicable financial regulations.

• Liaise with CA, consultants, and government departments for compliance and legal matters.

Required Skills:

·         Minimum 5 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing or trading company.

·         Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards, taxation laws, GST, and statutory compliance.

·         Proficiency in Tally ERP software – this is mandatory.

·         Familiarity with audit procedures and government regulatory filings.

·         Advanced skills in MS Excel and financial reporting.

·         Excellent documentation abilities for maintaining accurate records.

·         Attention to detail with strong problem-solving and organizational skills.

·         Good communication skills in English, Hindi, and preferably Marathi.
