We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensure compliance with statutory requirements, and support financial planning and analysis. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge, analytical skills, and the ability to work independently while guiding junior team members.
Oversee and manage the general accounting functions including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Ledger, and Bank Reconciliation.
Prepare and review financial statements, monthly/quarterly/yearly closing reports, and MIS reports.
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESIC, etc.).
Manage audits (internal & statutory) and coordinate with external auditors.
Monitor and analyze accounting data to ensure accuracy, reliability, and timely reporting.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for management decision-making.
Develop and implement accounting policies, systems, and procedures to improve efficiency.
Supervise and guide junior accountants to ensure accuracy in accounting processes.
Handle vendor payments, payroll accounting, and reconciliation of accounts.
Stay updated with changes in accounting standards, tax regulations, and industry practices.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s degree or MBA preferred).
Professional certifications (CA, CMA, CPA, or equivalent) preferred.
Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in accounting/finance.
Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, and statutory compliances.
Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, ERP, SAP, or similar) and MS Excel.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Strong communication and leadership skills to manage and mentor junior staff.
