About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Sr. Accountant to join our team in Chennai. As an Sr. Accountant at Silicon Radio House, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with industry-standard accounting principles. Key Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the financial accounting process, including data entry, transaction recording, and reconciliation.

• Prepare and analyse financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

• Ensure the timely and accurate recording of all financial transactions.

• Reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable to maintain accurate records.

• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, providing financial insights and projections.

• Conduct financial analysis and provide actionable recommendations to management for decision-making.

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure adherence to accounting policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.

• Stay informed about industry trends and any changes in accounting regulations to ensure ongoing compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role, preferably in an industry aligned with technology or electronics.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

• Proficiency in accounting software such as Zoho, Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, or PeopleSoft.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.

• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise effectively with internal teams and management.

• Experience in mentoring junior staff is an added advantage.

• It is a Full Time Accountant job for candidates with 2 - 6 years of experience.
