Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team in the FMCG sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting functions, ensuring accuracy in financial records, supporting audits, and contributing to financial planning and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update general ledger accounts, including journal entries, reconciliations, and adjustments.

• Handle accounts payable/receivable and ensure timely processing of invoices and payments.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

• Conduct financial analysis and assist with budgeting and forecasting.

• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements.

• Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audits.

• Monitor inventory and cost accounting as per FMCG standards.

• Support management with ad hoc financial reports and insights

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CA Inter or M.Com preferred).

• Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in the FMCG industry.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and statutory compliance.

• Proficient in Tally ERP, MS Excel, and other accounting software.

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in handling inventory accounting and cost control in FMCG.

• Familiarity with MIS reporting and ERP systems.
